E-Car payments are made by Direct Debit if you are Subscription Member or Credit/Debit card if you are a Pay as you go member. You will only be charged if and when you use the vehicles.

For those set up by Direct Debit – Usage is billed at the end of the Month – we usually initiate payments around the 25th. If you have made any bookings, you will receive an itemised invoice which can be accessed online.

As standard with Direct Debit transactions, payments can take up to 7 working days to clear. This means that you may not see the funds debited immediately.

For those set up to use a Credit/Debit Card – Usage is billed at the end of your booking. When you make a booking, a pre-authorisation of £60 + the estimated charge for your booking will be held for 24 hours before the booking starts. The £60 is released upon return and the hourly/daily rate will be charged accordingly – this will give you the freedom to extend your booking if needed.

Please note that it can take upto 7 working days for a pre-authorised amount to be released back to your account, depending on your bank.
