Source London is a London-wide electric vehicle charge point network. The network was started by Boris Johnson & TFL, it is key to delivering London’s vision of increasing the usage of electric vehicles in London.

1. Sign up online

2. Reserve a charge point

3. Charge your EV

4. Get on the road

Joining the Source London network starts from just £4 per month, and price differs depending on the charge point you are using. For example, a RAPID charge includes a £1.80 session fee + 30p per kWh & 3kW/ 7kW charge point costs just 3.6p/min of use.

Some charge points which have a tariff applied to them by the owners are indicated as such on the Source London website. Some charge point providers may have their own signage or sticker on the charge point.

For the some on-street charge points, you will require a type 2 menekes cable to successfully charge. There are still on-street unit that utilise the domestic 3-pin plug but these are now far and few between.

However, most Source London 3kW, 7kW, 50kw & 43 kW charge units have tethered cables, but not all vehicles can utilise these chargers.

20-minute minimum per charging session.

Other than that, there are no other charge time limitations on most ‘Source London’ charge points, however these may be indicated when viewing a charge point on their website.
